Male Reproductive Rights my ass!

So, I keep seeing these anti-feminists fussing about male reproductive rights, yea, like they have to carry a child for nine months and have to go through hours of labor or get cut open for the child to be born!

Truth is they don’t have male reproductive rights because there is no reason for them to, they have every right to run away from being a father by signing over parental rights, if they want the right to stop a woman from having an abortion then I say we take away their right to run after getting a woman pregnant in exchange! If these guys do manage to get these stupid male reproductive rights then it will be handing them a leash around every woman’s neck. Think about it, they could get a woman pregnant, run out on her but not let her have an abortion so she’s being FORCED to have the child, to subject her body to pain and damage just because the child’s father wants to put her through that situation for some sadistic reason or wants revenge against her. Oh and what is a woman to do if a guy runs after getting her pregnant? Have the baby “just in case” he comes back? Sorry but in that case I’d be hunting down that jerk with a .45! There’s also the case of rape, a woman shouldn’t be forced to carry a child who’s father raped her!

Yes, I’m pro-choice, though I’m a mother and never had an abortion, the option still needs to be there. I say that when men carry the child THEN they can have a say in it, but not before! How many men do you know who would willingly carry a child and birth it if they were able to? I’m betting that you don’t know many!

So shut up about male reproductive rights, because the fact is that you don’t have any because you have no reason to have them! When you go through the pain of having a child, then you can start fussing about reproductive rights, until then, shut the hell up!

If you truly believe in what you wrote, then you should consider the
inequality of a man having to support fatherhood of a child just because
a woman decides she wants to be a mother. If the man cannot make
her carry a term pregnancy or abort the fetus, he shouldn’t have to be
responsible for her decision as well. You get what I mean!

Bobby, Unlike most I do agree with you on that point. He should have the option of signing a document stating that he does not wish to be a part of the child’s life, seeing them nor supporting them via child support, BEFORE it is too late for her to have the abortion, that way he can’t say he’ll support the child and then change his mind when it is too late for her to have the abortion.

If a man was given the option to sign a document while there is still time for her to have the abortion, then I would have no problem with men having that option, that way, if he decides not to support the child or be a part of their lives she wouldn’t be trapped in the role of single mother.

That’s pretty thoughtless. While men don’t have to go through child labor, they do contribute to that child’s DNA and without that contribution there would be no child. Until women can reproduce asexually, I think it’s reasonable to allow men reproductive rights.

Men also don’t have the damage to their bodies, they don’t risk death giving birth, to force a woman to go through that would be selfish! How do I know how hard it is? I’m 8 months pregnant right now with a fractured pelvic bone from the child’s weight, pain every time they move and can barely stand! When they go through that and can fully understand and know how it feels then they will be well educated enough to have any part in the choice, but as of this time they have no way to even imagine what it is like. I can’t even compare it as there is no common point of reference to use. Any man can be a DNA donor, it doesn’t mean they can be a father and it sure as hell doesn’t give them the right to force a woman into carrying a child!

How would male reproductive rights work anyways if you think about it? She wants an abortion, he says no, she’s forced to carry the child? All the male reproductive rights supporters say it would be a 50/50 split, but in reality it could never be because him saying no would mean it would only have 50% yes, 50% no and there would be no way to have a deciding vote. So it really wouldn’t be male reproductive rights anyways, it would be male reproductive control. The whole male reproductive rights thing is just a way of sugar coating the fact that they want to have final say.
